More than 220 acres of land, in the states of Odisha (Sambalpur) and West Bengal (Murshidabad and Purulia), has been earmarked for the agro-products division. This vast expanse of land is used for various agricultural purposes. The agro-products are cultivated, quality-checked and sold in the markets in bulk and retail alike. The products range from wheat, cereals, jackfruit, eggplant, gourd, pumpkin and many more.
Coconut and Mango farming are the pride of the agro-products division workers. They can proudly boast of cultivating more than 30,000 mangoes ranging over more than 9 varieties of the ‘King of Fruits’ every single year.
