More than 220 acres of land, in the states of Odisha (Sambalpur) and West Bengal (Murshidabad and Purulia), has been earmarked for the agro-products division. This vast expanse of land is used for various agricultural purposes. The agro-products are cultivated, quality-checked and sold in the markets in bulk and retail alike. The products range from wheat, cereals, jackfruit, eggplant, gourd, pumpkin and many more.
Coconut and Mango farming are the pride of the agro-products division workers. They can proudly boast of cultivating more than 30,000 mangoes ranging over more than 9 varieties of the ‘King of Fruits’ every single year.

Some eco-friendly harvesting methods like rainwater harvesting is utilised to not only become cost-effective but also encourage the local farmers to adopt this process. Crop rotation and intercropping practices are followed for optimizing results. Absolute care is taken so that the products are safe and nutritious by ensuring that no insecticide or pesticide is used.
For the purpose of dairy farming, Shaha Paribar maintains a strict policy against chemical induced increased milk production.

Concurrent to the printing division, packaging (paper and laminate) division has been catering to the in-house group businesses only. Plans are in place to expand the services to third party consumers as well in the near future.

Printing

Printing is very essential constituent of Biri industry. With the rise of the biri industry and the growth in demand of the different group businesses, Shaha Paribar has been operating traditional offset printing machines for more than three decades. Till date, the printing division has only been serving the in-house production demands.
The group plans to venture into more modern printing methods comprising rotogravure and flexography technology.

Transport and Logistics

A fleet of 47 trucks along with scores of other medium to small goods vehicles help in raw materials and finished goods reach their desired destinations on time not only for the group business products but also third-party clients. Trained drivers and their helpers are appointed to make sure that safety of the goods is upheld along with delivery deadlines.
In recent times, the demand for advertisement and publicity has been met with additional seven canter vans for the sole purpose to connect with the end consumers and reach out to them with new launches as well as old products.
