With a production capacity of more than 7 crore sticks of biri per day, Meghana Biri is the largest biri manufacturing and trading company in Eastern India involving more than 70,000 families across the region in its biri business. A separate export division caters to the export market.
Since its inception, Meghana has been committed to satisfying customers by manufacturing quality tobacco products and serving the demands of every type of consumer. Highest grade tobacco are sourced from Nipani and Gujarat to manufacture biris that delight our customers in every way. Top quality kendu leaves that is cultivated in Odisha are selected based on thickness, leaf texture, and some other critical factors. The tobacco is then mixed in the desired ratios, and the biri leaves are chopped into uniform pieces. The mixing of tobacco is the key to a premium range biri, and as such, it is protected as a trade secret.
